No Trinity in the Bible

From the very beginning until today the “Catholic Church” believes that it has the right and the power to promote to sainthood, to change days and seasons, to add to the Word of God, to take away from the Word of God, and to change the Word of God.

CORRUPTION: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” (Matthew 28:19) KJV.

The original words in Matthew 28:19 were Jesus’ own words, God Himself.  It has been proved from many sources including those in authority of the Catholic Church itself that the words of Jesus were changed to “Help the laity better understand the trinity”, a false doctrine (see resources below).

It is also important to note here that Matthew, Mark, and Luke are called the synoptic gospels. This s because they are very similar, and go over much of the same ground.  Yet neither Mark or Luke contain this corruption (see the areas of Mark 16:15 and Luke 24:47).

It is firmly believed that this verse was changed during the second or third century. What is ironic about this change is that in their ignorance of who Jesus really was and is, they actually were not successful in changing it, but rather it became a true testament of who Jesus really was and is.  They added that we were to baptized in the NAME (singular) of the FATHER, and of the SON, and of the HOLY GHOST (titles and not names).  That singular name is JESUS.

“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus. . . (Colossians 3:17)

You see the truth of the matter is much more beautiful that many professed Christians understand.  God did not send someone else to come to suffer and die on the cross to pay for our sins . . . HE CAME HIMSELF.

“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: GOD was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory” (1 Timothy 3:16).

How was Matthew 28:19 written originally? There are a couple translations that basically say the same thing:

“Go and make disciples of all nations in my name, and teach ye them every thing that I have commanded you.” (See The Writings of Eusebius)

“Go and make disciples of all nations in my name, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you.”

1 John 5:7 was also added in latter centuries which as been proven to the extent that all modern translations have removed the altered verse (see Analysis of 1 John 5:7).

CORRUPTION: “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one” (1 John 5:7) KJV.

The truth is that no where in the Bible does God say that He is three, that there are three persons, or that there is a trinity.  Actually just the opposite. . .

“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD” (Deuteronomy 6:4).

“Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me” (Isaiah 45:21).

“Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?” (John 14:9)

“And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he” (Mark 12:32).

“As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one” (1 Corinthians 8:4).

There are many, many more scriptures that prove God is one and not two, three, or anything else.  The Oneness of God is proclaimed all through His Word.

The Catholic Encyclopedia, II, page 263:
“The baptismal formula was changed from the name of Jesus Christ to the words Father, Son, and Holy Spirit by the Catholic Church in the second century.”

The Jerusalem Bible, a scholarly Catholic work, states:
“It may be that this formula, (Triune Matthew 28:19) so far as the fullness of its expression is concerned, is a reflection of the (Man-made) liturgical usage established later in the primitive (Catholic) community. It will be remembered that Acts speaks of baptizing “in the name of Jesus,”…”

New Testament Studies Number 5:
The Lord’s Command To Baptize An Historical Critical Investigation. By Bernard Henry Cuneo page 27. “The passages in Acts and the Letters of St. Paul. These passages seem to point to the earliest form as baptism in the name of the Lord.” Also we find. “Is it possible to reconcile these facts with the belief that Christ commanded his disciples to baptize in the trine form? Had Christ given such a command, it is urged, the Apostolic Church would have followed him, and we should have some trace of this obedience in the New Testament. No such trace can be found. The only explanation of this silence, according to the anti-traditional view, is this the short Christological (Jesus Name) formula was (the) original, and the longer trine formula was a later development.”
Catholic Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger (Pope Benedict XVI):
He makes this confession as to the origin of the chief Trinity text of Matthew 28:19. “The basic form of our (Matthew 28:19 Trinitarian) profession of faith took shape during the course of the second and third centuries in connection with the ceremony of baptism. So far as its place of origin is concerned, the text (Matthew 28:19) came from the city of Rome.” The Trinity baptism and text of Matthew 28:19 therefore did not originate from the original Church that started in Jerusalem around AD 33. It was rather as the evidence proves a later invention of Roman Catholicism completely fabricated. Very few know about these historical facts.

“The Demonstratio Evangelica” by Eusebius:
Eusebius was the Church historian and Bishop of Caesarea. On page 152 Eusebius quotes the early book of Matthew that he had in his library in Caesarea. According to this eyewitness of an unaltered Book of Matthew that could have been the original book or the first copy of the original of Matthew. Eusebius informs us of Jesus’ actual words to his disciples in the original text of Matthew 28:19: “With one word and voice He said to His disciples: “Go, and make disciples of all nations in My Name, teaching them to observe all things whatever I have commanded you.” That “Name” is Jesus.

One Lord, one faith, one baptism (Ephesians 4:5) and there is also but One God and One Church.
